Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was less cold. In the upper 50's. I wore the standard winter kit + Skull Cap. Legs felt good from the start. Made it to the top of the descent in good time. The wind conditions were unusual. I had a tailwind on the way up and about a mile or two down the canyon, the wind turned 180. To my liking! I made it to the base and turned around. No stoppages. The climbing legs didn't take much to get going. Before I knew it, I was passed the gauntlet. Then made my way through the Loop Monument. I was keeping the tempo steady. No less than moderate. Out of the saddle frequently. I switched the view on my GPS so that I couldn't see the elapsed time. I was working off of HR, Wattage, speed, and cadence. Concentration felt good. Drifting once in a while, but able to reel it in. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, maybe some mild soreness in the lower back. Nothing detracting. Gear is working well. I installed new battery in the HR strap and it worked like a charm. I think I found the cause of the rattling noises. I believe it was the rear speed sensor. I think I have to replace the band that holds it in place. It felt a bit loose. Other notes, no other cyclists. There were two trains on the loop (simultaneously). I was going to take a photo as I was descending, but was reluctant. Kind of wish I did...
