The weather is cool, in the upper 40’s/ low 50’s. Winds from the South East. Making it for a great ride to WS. The legs felt pretty good from the start. I wore my arm/knee warmers. I brought my skull cap and ended up putting it on within the first 10 minutes of the ride. I’m glad I brought it. I knew the outbound was going to be in the wind. So, I prepared my mind for it. Ticking over the miles with landmarks. I kept the tempo steady. Mostly in the saddle. The return trip was more or less what I expected. I had a nice tail-wind. I was doing 20+MPH most of the way back. I put in a push over the last kickers. Mostly fun and games from there, pushing a big gear on the downhill side of Highline. Concentration was good. Hints of gremlins. As I anticipated. Mostly benign. Balance and form felt good. On top of the pedals and centered. Ailments, next to none, other than the slight bite of the cold air. Gear worked flawless. The bike exhibits some rattling noises, indicative of something loose. Yet to figure out what it is. Other notes, I saw 4 or 5 cyclists today. There was a glider being towed as I was nearing WS.
