The weather wasn't horrible today, but the wind was not in my favor for a Tour de Teh (SS,R) Ride. I decided to ride indoors, instead. I chose the mountain route. Kit and gear prepped in no time. As usual, the first 10 minutes was warm up. The only thing I did different, this time, was to put a bit more power going over the bridge that leads to the main part of the climb. Otherwise, I was doing steady tempo, between 3 and 4 Watts/Kg. It took about 20 minutes into the ride before I began to perspire. As I was approaching the finish, I increased the wattage. I put in a PR and got about 48-ish place. Definitely, top 60. I rode up the radio tower and then downhill from there. I completed the loop. Followed by a few miles of cooldown. Concentration was very good. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, some knee soreness as I was going through the flat/rollers near the lat 3 miles of the ride. I experimented with low and high cadence. High cadence definitely reduced the knee soreness. Also, putting more wattage in the upstroke seemed to help a bit. Gear worked great. No issues there. Other notes, there were over 4000 riders at the start and about 3600-ish when I was nearing the finish.
