Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was pleasant. About the upper 70's low 80's. I wasn't sure what to expect, coming off of the Caliente ride. I felt good today. I started real slow on my way to the top of the descent. I made it to the bottom in average time. I started my way up a bit higher than moderate tempo and continued at that pace and eventually moving into higher tempo. I felt good for most of the ride. I was constantly going in and out of the saddle and trying to stay on top of the pedals. I took a bit of push going over the loop monument and then kept my momentum going for the remainder of the ride. I had to adjust my pace accordingly and I was never in danger of blowing up. Concentration was good and my balance felt good and was better than the previous ride prior to caliente. Gear was working beautifully. Other notations. I saw a wild bear today near the entrance of the Caesar Chavez center. That was my first bear sighting in all my years in Tehachapi. At least on my bike rides. I took some photos and a video. They are plowing a shoulder on the side of the road, going up the mountain. No clue if they are going to pave it.
