Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I had a dental appointment today in the morning. I got back around 10:30AM as I was hoping. I had a quick snack and then got the trainer ready. It took a while before I hopped on because I had other business to take care of. Nevertheless, I hopped on Zwift. I chose the "Turf N Surf in Makuri Islands" map. I chose it because it was around the right duration. Just under an hour with a bit of climbing. Not much to tell about it. The legs felt good to start. I was warmed up and good to go within 5 minutes of ride time. I felt better as the ride progressed. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts to use different muscle groups and to ease the sit bones. The miles went relatively quick, especially that last half of the ride. I think there were two timed segments. I am pretty sure I was in the top half of the first. I don't recall my placing on the second one. I kept the tempo moderate and increased the tempo on the climbs, holding 3 W/kg most of the time. The scenery helped ease the effort. After crossing the finish, I cooled down for a few minutes and let the HR go down to 112 BPM before hoping off.
Concentration was good. Few lapses and no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form felt very good. I felt square on the saddle and the legs felt fluid. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal in the morning and a Clif Bar with a Banana and some grapes before hopping on the trainer. Ailments were minimal. Some hand soreness. I think my right knee was barely hinting on soreness that never escalated. Gear worked flawlessly. I didn't get the chance to put the GPS on the trainer bike. Other notes, there were over 1000 riders on this map today.
