It has warmed up slightly. Enough such that I didn't need to bring my jacket. Winds from the North West to start, but turned turbulent and 180 on the last half of the ride. I wore arms, knees, 2 base layers, head cap, face mask, double socks and newspaper in the jersey. I was sufficiently warm. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the top of OTR in good average time. From there, I headed to the top of Highline. I was going into a headwind, so patience was the name of the game. I zipped around the Buffalo neighborhood and then back to Highline for the return. I made my way back to OTR. The descent was enjoyable. I pushed over Mariposa and the dig to the top of Weston where I shut it down.
Concentration was good. Perhaps a hint of impatience. I was in the zone most of the time with no gremlins to speak of. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. I my sit tissues, it felt better today. Otherwise, just the usual hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, part of a banana and some grapes for breakfast. I drank more than half my sport drink, no water. Gear worked flawlessly. The bike continues to ride super quiet. Other notes, no cyclists today. There were some friendly walkers.
