A very Berry new year ride

A very chilly day, 32F, on wet, slick roads that alternated between paved and dirt. Skull cap, thick gloves, light tights, cycling jacket, and warm boots kept me comfortable. I kept my speeds slow due to icy conditions. I rode most of the "berry" roads in the So. Point Higgins area on Revillgigedo. There are peaceful, isolated homes along the rolling roads dropping off the highway. None of the roads are long or steep. Exploring the chilly forested short side roads, the rolling roads are what kept me warm. The day's sunshine wasn't enough to dry the routes or me so I cut my exploratory ride short. The low traffic, and sunshine made this spin through thick and quiet forest nice.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
