Today's ride was a mixed bowl of sorts. The weather was nice, around 70 degrees. The winds from the south. Being that today was supposed to be a SS ride, I decided to do the ride less the SS loop due to the wind conditions. My legs felt heavy for the first 30 minutes or so. It took until the summit of Banducci for them to come around. They got better as the ride progressed. I was flying on the way out, over Banducci. But the winds were formidable for the remainder of the ride. My concentration was fairly good. I was in the zone for the most part. Balance was nice, very few leaning, other than when in the cross winds. Ailments consisted of some abdominal pains. It was odd, I couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. It didn't quite feel like a stomach ache. I felt pains in the left and right sides of my upper body. While going through the farm-lands, I felt somewhat of congestion pain. I can only attribute this to the winds pickup lots of dust. I couldn't see the dust, but I knew it was there. As soon as I got to the last climb, those pains subsided. All together, about 10-15 minutes of upper body pains. Gear is working well, no problems. Again, still trying to figure out the charity app. For now, stopping once and a while to check in on it seems to help. Other notes, I hit 45mph going down Banducci, on the lower part. Fun fun! :D
