Today's weather was great. Even better than the previous ride. The winds from the north. I got out a bit late today, I think the winds picked up a bit from earlier in the day. My legs felt pretty good from the beginning. And surely better when I reached Banducci. I had a headwind up the Banducci wall and the remainder of the climb. I was near my limit over the wall. I held steady tempo up the remainder of the climb. The wind permitted for a fast descent. It wasn't turbulent, so I was able to negotiate the turns at high speed. I made it to SS in good time, giving a brief push over the summit and through the tunnel in under an hour. When I made my way out of SS, I did modest tempo through Banducci, going east. When I reached Pelisser, I increased the tempo to no less than moderate, and high tempo for the most part. I held this tempo through CVR, reached Boss Hogs in under 1:20 hrs. I commenced the CVR climb modest and increased the tempo for the remainder of the climb. I did a brief push over the summit. When I realized I was on good time, I decided to keep the tempo high for the remainder of the ride and was able to complete the ride in under 1:48hrs. Concentration was good for the most part, but I was coaching for a good part of the ride. Balance was the greater of the ride, I wasn't having to constantly adjust myself, and when I did, it was on a few occasions. Ailments consisted of soreness in the lower back. I was able to stretch it out. Gear is working flawless. The charity app didn't track my mileage to the top of Banducci. I checked it at the summit, and it was waiting at the "Resume" / "Finish" screen. I resumed it from there and the app appeared to work for the remainder of the ride. I think I checked it only once, when I was on the way out of SS.
