As was predicted, it rained in the morning. A good day to ride indoors. I chose the "MyWhoosh - Coffee Trail" map because I calculated I could do it in about an hour. After getting things together, I hopped on. My left hip was a bit sore, so I gave it some time to warm up. After about 10 minutes, I was feeling better. The map is mostly flat / rolling terrain. The scenery was nice. The miles and minutes went quick. I had stuff to think about. I was doing in and out of the saddle efforts. I tried to keep the wattage around 3 W/kg plus or minus a few tenths. After 30 minutes, the sweat started to break out. I did not red-line it on this ride. There was a timed segment or two. They had leader-boards, but it didn't show my name, so no clue where I stood. After crossing the finish, I commenced the cool-down. I kept going till about 19 miles and then let the HR drop to 112 BPM before hopping off.
Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about. The morale felt pretty good. Ailments were minimal. Some left hip soreness at the start. Some hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I had a bowl of oatmeal, a banana and some grapes for breakfast. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked flawlessly. I still have to adjust the rear shifting. It labors when downshifting around the middle of the cassette. Other notes, there were about 500 riders on the map when I hopped on. They are getting popular. All of the maps that I looked at had riders on them.
