The story of the day was the weather. I wanted to do the entire Tour de Teh. ride, but the weather just didn't permit. I felt good at the start. I was able to make it in good time to the end of OTR. I did moderate tempo up Banducci, and gave it a short push over the wall. The remainder was continued moderate tempo. As I was doing the remainder of the climb, it started to sprinkle. Nothing big. When I reached the Banducci summit, I noticed that it was cloudy in SS. It appeared to be raining, but I wasn't sure to what extent. I had two choices, ride towards SS, or do a u-turn. I decided to go towards SS. As I was descending Banducci, it started to rain more. I was real cautious how I made my way down the mountain. There was a car behind me, so I had 2 things to worry about. Fortunately the driver was smart enough to give me some room. By the time I reached the bottom, the rain was coming down steady and stayed that way. I decided against doing the SS loop, and go straight through Pelliser. It kept raining all the way over CVR and through OTR. I did one good push over CVR and made my way home. The rain subsided as I reached the end of OTR and stayed dry for the remainder of the ride. My concentration was spot on. I was caught in the moment of making my way through the rain mentally and physically. It did require extra attention. Fortunately, I was able to keep my focus. One false step and I could have hit the deck. Ailments consisted of some slight soreness in my right knee. I was real mild and didn't require any change in my pace. Balance was very good today. Gear worked flawless and it was a testament for the electronics being water resistant/proof. Other notes, the Live Tracking app stopped where I entered Weston.
