Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather is nice and cool. But the wind conditions weren't favorable. It was more windy that usual, at this time of the day. I ended up getting out the door around 10AM, I think. I wore the standard kit with arm warmers. The wind was going South East and I was going to WS. So, I knew it was going to be a tough return. At least I had a nice tailwind on the way out. I tried mixing 3/4 serving of Accelerade. Turns out that, today wasn't a good day to experiment. I have some things to take care of, so my mind was not the best with concentration. The stomach was a bit sour to start and the Accelerade didn't help. I ended up drinking mostly water. After reaching the turn-around, I headed back with no stopping. As I was making my way back, the rear tire felt mushy. And, it was a flat tire. I'm not sure if this made the ride better or worse. But, at least I wasn't too upset. I fixed the flat and headed back out. I was doing about 10 to 12 MPH, holding a modest tempo. The last climb was faster than I anticipated. From there it was mostly fun and games after making my way back up to Banducci. Concentration was ok, but I was preoccupied with other stuff, so not so good in that respect. Balance and form felt ok. Ailments, next to none, but I was having some slight stomach pains on and off. Gear worked well. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
