Fantastic. My right knee felt good today, so I decided to do the Tour de Teh (SS,R) ride. I had 2 goals today. One to do the full ride (weather permitting, which it was), and taking some video/photo footage of the squeegee. More specifically, how to use it on the rear wheel. I used the gorpro mounting brackets to get the best angle. No clue how it turned out. The weather was cold. in the mid 40's. I wore 2 base layers, cap, face mask, knees and arms. It was just enough to keep me warm for the duration of the ride. My legs felt good. Most likely because of the lack of serious riding in the past week or so. I was pushing pretty hard on some sections of the ride. Mostly moderate tempo and rarely less. I was doing good time. The thing is, I stopped on several occasions for minutes at a time, so this skewed my results a little. I made it to SS in good time. Reaching the SS tunnel in about 1 hour. I made it to Boss Hogs in less than 1:20 hrs. I kept my tempo up on the CVR climb. I brought the tempo down as I went through the false flats. The remainder was fun and games. My concentration was good for the most parts. Some passive gremlins, no problems there. I had some lapses, but I was able to bring it back just as quick. Ailments consisted of general soreness of the quads. Some soreness in the lower back and a hint of soreness in the right knee when I was at SS. I stretched on several occasions and reduced my tempo from time to time. Balance was close to spot on. Slight adjustments here and there. Gear is working well. No problems to report. Other notes, I bruised my left shin. I think it happened when I was changing the position of my Gorpro. I'm pretty sure my bike slipped from where it was perched and landed on my shin. I didn't feel a thing, but I saw the bruise shortly after.
