It's cloudy with mild winds from the south. I decided to do the full Tour de Teh (SS,R) route. The temperature was tough to gauge. I decided to wear my usual winter kit with jacket. I ended up taking off the jacket, later in the ride. I also brought my winter gloves and shoe covers in my extra bag, just in case. The legs felt good from the start. The general soreness from my legs are nearly gone. Almost unnoticeable. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. I was in no hurry. Banducci felt good. Partially because I had a mild assistance from the tailwind. I made it to the summit and assessed the weather conditions. No rain, and the wind continued to be mild, so I was all in for SS. I removed my jacket before the Banuducci climb, and kept it off for the remainder of the ride. The descent into KV was fun. It almost felt like I had a headwind. When I reached the base, I pulled over to take some photos of the local wild life (horses). I got back on the road and made my way to SS. The wind was still mild, so that helped the morale. I reached the tunnel in about 1:02-ish hours. Better than I anticipated. I was calculating that I'd lose about 4 to 5 minutes, till Boss Hogs. I made my way through SS and headed back on Banducci. The trip through the farmlands was comfortable. I wasn't having to battle the wind, so much. I reached Boss Hogs in about 1:26-ish hours. So, I lost about 4 to 5 minutes, just as I calculated. The legs were feeling a hint of soreness, especially the right leg. I began stretching. I had to stop once before the climb in order to swap camera batteries. The last climb felt good. I kept the tempo nice and steady, no digs. From the summit, I made my way to Route 202, recovering a bit along the way. Some traffic mitigation till I got to OTR. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. Balance and form was good. I'm getting my touch back, riding no handed. Ailments, some calf soreness in the right leg. It never escalated. Gear worked great. But, the charity app didn't record the metrics. I was so upset when I got back. Other notes, I saw one other cyclist today.
Other notes: About provisions. I got it right. I drank about 3/4 of my Accelerade, and hardly any plain water. I did not feed today.
