Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Unusual weather today. I stepped outside, it was cold and winds from the North West. I wore the standard winter kit, with jacket. At the last moment, I decided not to bring my face mask. I headed out and made my way to the summit of the descent. The clouds looked like they were rolling in. It looked mostly like fog. I was trying to determine the safety factor. So, I proceeded with caution, down the mountain. The fog got worse as I was nearing the base. But I had a line of sight to the next bend. So, it seemed safe. I reached the base and took a peak at the GoPro battery. It was at 20%, so I decided to swap out batteries. I headed back, shortly after. As I was making my way up the climb, the fog started to thicken. It put my on an alert stance. I lowered the volume on the mp3 speaker. I was able to hear my own breath. And was able to hear oncoming cars from both directions. Fortunately, there were few cars. I pulled over a few times to let traffic by, for the duration of the ride. I felt pretty good. Legs feeling responsive. No red-lining it today. I was sufficiently warm. Fortunately, my face didn't freeze. So, I didn't regret leaving my face mask home. The fog ads moisture to the air, so it's easier to breath. The trees accumulated moisture and were dropping water, in drips. Very unusual. I could see moisture on the ground, immediately under the trees. I wasn't paying attention to time. I was getting in a good ride. But always distracted from the danger (from the fog) in the moment . Concentration was good for the most part. I have a lot of important things to attend to in the next few weeks, so I'm somewhat preoccupied. But, not excessively stressful. I'm glad I got this ride in. Definitely helps relieves stress. Ailments were next to none. Probably the better of things, on this ride. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. Other notes, no other cyclists today, (not a surprise).
Edit: I did put in two digs on the risers, on the way down to Keene. The legs felt responsive.
Edit: The Charity app didn't work today. I'm not sure why. Somewhat unreliable the past few rides.
