Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

It's the usual fall weather. In the 70's. Cool winds from the South East. Somewhat turbulent. I put in two digs on the risers. I made it to the top of the descent in good time. As I was descending, the wind direction changed about 2 or 3 miles down. I made it to the base, didn't check the time, and headed back up the mountain. The body felt good. I was able to get that HR up without too much effort. I tried to keep the tempo steady. There was another cyclist about 7 minutes ahead of me (We crossed paths as I was descending). The wind was in my favor on the tough parts. My HR was above 150 BPM most of the way up. I caught up to the cyclist as I was about 1 mile from the summit. Concentration was pretty good. Not great. Some dark spots out there, today. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some mild left knee soreness as I was about 10 or 15 minutes from the summit. It never escalated, but was noticeable. I had numb hands as I was nearing the summit. Gear worked flawless. The GoPro had no stoppages. Nutrition was spot on. I went through more than half my Gatorade and a bit of water. Other notes, there were some tourists at the loop monument. No trains to be seen.
