Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's cold and raining. Perfect for indoor training. I chose the Watopia Hilly Loop. The body felt good from the start. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the climb. I was out of the saddle most of the time. The palm of my hands felt better today. I've been using the eye glass strap. It kept my glasses from sliding down my nose. Worked like a charm. I was putting over 3 W/kg most of the way up the mountain. I was near the max when I reached the summit. I made my way up the bonus climb. At a bit slower tempo than the primary climb. After reaching the summit, I headed downhill. I was pedaling most of the way down. I kept the tempo going when I reached the mainland. Putting in a dig through the sprint zone. Probably doing 100 RPM on my 52/11. Shortly after crossing the start/finish, I cooled down for a few minutes. Concentration was good. Morale felt good. I was listening to my music. Balance and form was good. Ailments, just a bit of hand soreness, but not as bad as previous rides. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was spot on. No hunger pains. I went through about half my Gatorade. No water. Other notes, there were over 3000 riders on this map, today.
