Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Alright! A good day to get out and do the ride we planned for in months. The temperature at Caliente was in the 80's. Winds to the north. I wore the standard kit. Peggy and I departed from the postal parking lot as planned. We didn't forget anything. There isn't a whole lot to tell other than it was a casual ride. I went up the road for a few miles, waited for Peggy, another few miles and rinse and repeat. We did this to the General store and more of the same going down. I was in the comfort zone the whole time and never pushed the pace. Concentration was good for the most part. There were some gremlins out there and I had to coach myself to maintain focus. If I had been by myself, the pace I usually go at would have mitigated most of those discrepancies. Otherwise, I was in the zone. Balance and form was good. This ride was perfect to hone in that sense of center on the saddle and turn the pedals at a high cadence. Ailments were next to none. My right palm felt sore when I got back to the car. I must have bruised it somewhere on the ride. Probably when I was reseating the wheels. Other notes, I took tons of photos and videos. We had a Hagen Daz (sp?) bar at the General store. It was a welcome snack. Needless to say, I didn't need to eat my power bar.
Other notes, the tail light that I have and the same that was on Peggy's bike was brighter than I anticipated. I could see it from many hundreds of yards away.
Other notes, the Gopro has 3 dots of charging and 1:47 hours of movie mode remaining. The Garmin Edge had about 73'ish % charge remaining after the ride.
