Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather is super windy today. Clear skies, winds from the South East. I made it to the top of the descent in good time. I cruised the downhill. Putting in two digs on the risers. I reached the base in about 22 minutes. I knew I was going to lose all sorts of time on the ascent. I had a 2pm video conference appointment, so I had incentive to make it back in time. The body felt good. I was playing the where would I be when the song ends. It helped. Concentration was good. The morale was good. I had to push myself out of bed to get out in time for the afternoon appointment. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, some mild knee and quad soreness. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. Mostly Gatorade. Other notes, no other cyclists out there. There were visitors at the Loop Monument. One of which was driving a Tesla S Model Car.
