Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I decided to ride indoors. The weather is cloudy and the wind is going the unfavorable direction for Keene. I rode the mountain loop on Zwift. The legs felt good to start. It didn't take much to get warmed up. Sufficient by the time I reached the base of the climb. I was doing over 3 W/kg till the bridge. I had to hop off the trainer to turn on the fan. About 5 seconds lost there. No biggie. I kept the tempo steady and above 3 W/kg, but below 4 W/kg, most of the time. I was out of the saddle most of the time. In the saddle to hydrate and wipe sweat. My hands were getting sore, so sitting down and shaking them helped. Not much else to tell. I made it to the summit in good time. Posting 22nd. I headed up the bonus climb, in the low gears to the summit. I headed back to town after that. After recuperating a bit, I upped the tempo till the start finish. I put in a good dig through the sprint zone. I think I obtained top 50 or so. Shortly after making it to the start / finish, I commenced cooldown. I stopped after a couple miles and the HR was at 116BPM. Concentration was good. I was impatient at times, however, so I put in more effort than I normally would. Balance and form was good. Gear worked great. Ailments, some hand soreness. Nutrition was good. I drank about 1/2 my Gatorade, no water. Other notes, there were about 6000 riders at the start of my session.
