Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather is just right for a Keene ride. I got out a bit later than anticipated. But, today was a quick ride. The legs felt good to start. Made it to the summit in good average time. I cruised the downhill. Mostly soft pedaling. I put in two digs over the risers. I made it to the base and turned around without stopping. I ended up stopping a mile into the ascent to take off my cap. The better of things wasn't my concentration but the overall responsiveness of the body. The music definitely helped. Ailments were minimal. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked great. Nutrition was good. I had only first breakfast, but no signs of hunger on the ride. Other notes, no other cyclists today. There was a double stacked train on the way up as I was near the base of the climb.
