Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

This is the first out door ride since the surgery. I was confident that I could do the entire ride. But I proceeded with a bit of caution. I'm at 128 lbs now, so I'm well under my normal weight. My plan was to go to the summit of OTR and see how the body felt. If I felt better, then I would proceed to WS. That's precisely what I did. The legs felt pretty good to start. I pulled over at the summit of OTR to take off my knee warmers. From there, I headed out to WS via Highline. I was trying to keep the HR below 145 BPM. I think I maxed out at around 151 BPM. I was within my limits for the entire ride. The wind conditions were modest, from the North West. So, I had a tailwind on the way out and a headwind on the way back. As I was making my way to WS, I had to pull over on Steuber. I heard a clicking noise on the chain. It was a stiff link. I had to put on safety gloves to bend the chain back to normal. From there, the chain behaved. At that point, I tried to pause the camera, but realized that it was off. Apparently, I turned it off when I removed my knee warmers. I think I lost about 20 or so minutes of footage. I made my way to the WS turn-around and headed back. As expected, I was going into a modest headwind. The way back was mostly steady tempo. After reaching the summit, the morale felt better. I made my way back to OTR and checked the GoPro camera. It had about 43% remaining. So, plenty to get me home. From there it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about, and being this was the first time out doors, I felt pretty good. Balance and form was good. Ailments were next to none. Gear worked great, despite the stiff chain link. Nutrition was good. I had most of my Gatorade and a sip of water. Other notes, I saw about 4 cyclists today.
