Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I was keen on doing the Tour de Teh ride today. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel. It's about 70 something degrees with winds from the North West. Ideal for this ride. The legs felt heavy today. I don't think I fully recovered from the previous ride. I decided to take it easy. I made it to the summit of Banducci in about 40 minutes. So, average at best. I knew it was going to be a slow day. So, it was just a game of patience. I made my way to SS. I didn't get the chance to replace the chain. It started to skip as I was approaching the climb into SS. When I go to the summit, I pulled over at the mail boxes and tried to adjust it. I got back on the road. I made it through the tunnel in about 1:07 hours. So, way behind an average ride. The chain started skipping again, so I pulled over and gave it another adjustment. That was the last of the problems for the chain. I made my way through town and back onto Banducci. I had a nice tailwind and was able to relax into a modest tempo. More or less like this for the remainder of the ride. I didn't bother checking the time at Boss Hogs. Or I may have just forgotten. The last climb went well. I had enough in the legs to keep moderate tempo. No digs over the top. I pulled over to swap out the battery on the GoPro right after the summit. At that point, I had just a few sips remaining on the Gatorade. But had more than half my water remaining. The morale got better. I made my way to route 202. I had to negotiate traffic. After making it to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good, despite having heavy legs. Balance and form was good, not great. Ailments were minimal, just a bit of hand soreness. Perhaps a hint of calf soreness on the last mile of the ride. Gear worked good, although the chain needs to be replaced. Nutrition was good. I had the usual eggs and waffles for breakfast and nothing else till now (as I am eating lunch). I used up all my Gatorade and had plenty of water remaining. Other notes, I saw only two cyclists today.
