Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I got up early in the morning, had breakfast and took a nap. I got up later than I planned. So, the departure was delayed. I decided on the Alpine Forest. It's about 80 degrees now. I wore my arm coolers for extra protection. It felt quite good. Cooler than anticipated. The legs felt average to start. Partially due to the warmer temperature. I made my way up OTR in mostly moderate tempo. I was sufficiently warmed up by the time I reached the summit. I didn't bother to check the elapsed time, but I was listening to my music and trying to guess where I'd be by the end of the song. The Banducci wall was more of the same. Traffic mitigation and out of the saddle most of the time. The Alpine Forest went fast. I kept the tempo steady. I was at maximum going over the top. I made my way around the backside. Reaching 40+ MPH on more than one occasion. From there, I made my way to the summit of Banducci. I took a few moments rest and headed back down the mountain. Descending off the wall was a treat. After making it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I was checking the time to see if it takes half the time to get back from OTR than it is to climb it on the way out. Turns out that it's a bit more than half. Concentration was good. I had stuff to think about, the morale felt good. I've been thinking about where I want to take Peggy. I have a pretty good idea. Balance and form is good. Ailments were next to none. I developed a callous on my right palm. Gear worked perfect. Some slight clicking, but not too bad. Nutrition was good. I had most of my Gatorade. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
