We left Uxbridge making for elevenses at Vermeulen's Garden Centre via Harmondsworth and Longford. Jim H suffered a puncture so while some were fixing it I led the rest of group on to elevenses.
Group reunited and beverages consumed and leaving Jane, Leslie, and Clive to return home Jim led us past Staines Reservoirs and Ashford to Laleham and lunch at The Feathers where John H left us. The pub was very busy but they had left two tables for us in the bar.
Replete we rode through Laleham to Wheatsheaf Lane then along the River Thames into Staines. Leaving the river near St Mary’s Church we joined Mill Lane and the track alongside the M25 and Wraysbury River to Stanwell Moor.We crossed the motorway into Poyle and on to Colnbrook en route to tea at Thorney Park Golf Club.
After tea we headed back towards Hillingdon with the group dispersing along the way.
