Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Today's weather was around low 40's winds from the north west. I wore the standard winter kit. I felt pretty good from the start. I haven't been out riding in about 3 days. It was cold on the way out to Keene. I kept soft pedaled the downhill to keep from freezing. After reaching the base, I adjusted my leg warmers and commenced the climb. My legs continued to feel good. I was able to hold moderate to good tempo for the entire climb. No digs today. Concentration felt good. Almost no lapses. Balance and form was good. I had a good sense of balance on the pedals. Ailments were almost none. Maybe a hint of lower back pain. So minor, almost not worth mentioning. Gear is working well. Some squeaks from the pedals. Time to clean and oil my cleats. Other notes, no other cyclists. Two trains were passing as I was descending and ascending Keene. I stopped on two occasions on the uphill. One to adjust my leg warmers and another to take photos.
