It's a bit cooler than the previous ride. Winds from the South. In the mid/low 50's. I should have brought my head cap. I survived it nonetheless. The legs felt pretty good to start. I made it to the end of OTR in good average time. The Banducci wall was partial traffic mitigation. The Alpine Forest climb went fast. I was trying to keep my mind distracted. I was listening to the music and guessing how many songs to the top of the climb. Definitely helped. I was near max over the top. Going around the backside of the Alpine Forest was fun. Reaching 40 MPH on one of the dips. I made it to the summit of Banudcci and took a few moments respite. Shortly after, I headed back down the mountain. There was a significant headwind, so it felt like I was moving in slow motion. I had to blast the music player. After descending off the Banducci wall, I made my way to OTR and back. Concentration was good. The morale felt pretty good. Ailments were minimal. My ankle was bothering me the other day. No signs of pain on the ride, today. Gear worked perfect. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I had some Gatorade, no water. Other notes, no other cyclists today. There were some walkers on the backside of the Alpine Forest.
