Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

I'm still nursing my knee back to health. The Walmart Bike Path seemed to fit the bill. The weather is cool. About 59 degrees. Winds from the South East. I felt good from the start. Making it to the end of OTR in good average time. Going up Highline was a chore. Uphill and into the wind. I pulled over at the summit to check my smartphone. From there, I headed downhill and onto the Walmart Bike Path. The wind was a bit on the strong side today. I cruised my way down to the end. Checked my smartphone one more time and then headed back. The knee was cooperating. I was able to put a bit more wattage since the last time I rode this route. The way back was a lot of fun. I charged up the Highline climb. Putting in a good dig over the top. I had a tailwind on the downhill. I was approaching 40 MPH. Once I made it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. Concentration was good. I was in the zone. I had a few things to think about. Gear worked perfect. I tried the Google map location sharing feature. It worked. Mom said it looked more like Garmin Connect. It updates every few seconds. Unlike Glympse that is almost real-time. Balance and form feels better. Nutrition was good. No signs of hunger. I drank most of my Gatorade, no water. Ailments, still a bit of mild soreness on the right knee, but it's much better now. Some soreness in the hands. Other notes, there was one cyclist descending OTR as I was climbing. Looked like he was struggling a bit, going into the headwind. Perhaps he was just taking it easy.
