It's definitely rideable outdoors. So, I had to decide where to go, given my knee condition. The knee is feeling much better, but I need to be careful to nurse it gradually. I was initially considering the Alpine Forest, but decided on Banducci Summit n Back instead. The legs felt pretty good from the start. The wind was from the North West today. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. This was the point where I decided on Banducci instead of the Alpine Forest. The Banducci Wall went as it usually does. In the low gears going over the top. There was some traffic mitigation. I hate going up Banducci to the summit as the traffic is always a danger. I kept the tempo steady. No red-lining. After making it to the summit, I pulled over to recoup and let the traffic by. I checked the GoPro battery. It was at around 62%. Plenty to last the remainder of the ride. After letting the traffic go, I headed down the mountain. Descending off the Wall was fun. I reached 40MPH. After making it back to OTR, it was mostly fun and games. I was having some nature break signs, so I had incentive to get home diligently. Concentration was good. A bit on the impatient side. Perhaps a bit detracted from knowing I had to let up and keep the knees in the green as much as possible. Balance and form felt good. Gear worked perfect. Ailments, the upper right knee had some mild signs of soreness. Of course, I was being careful as to keep it from becoming too agitated. Nutrition was good. I had no hunger signs. The stomach was a bit sour before the ride. I ended up taking some Pepto with warm water. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
