Went on a solo ride today. The weather was warm, but not as much as the previous ride. Winds from the north, favorable. I decided to do the triple SS loop today as I want to prepare for the spooktacular ride (if I am able to do it). I felt good today. I was right on with Concentration and Balance. Very little lapses in concentration. I pushed myself into the red zone a few times, but the only ailment was exhaustion from my own effort. There is still construction to be done in SS and that was one of the reasons I wanted to do the triple. I want to do the ride again, but I don't want to disturbe the construction workers. Hopefully they will finish sometime in the next week or two. I fed on the 3rd lap, at the top of the SS climb. Then, I got drinks going into towns, and then home from there. As always, when the wind is in this direction, it's a blast to be flying down the road, even when it's not downhill. Other ailments are pretty much none. I did shake my hands off the bars few times and by doing that, I think I warded off any numbness that could have happened. I stretched my back a few times, don't think I felt any noticeable lingering soreness in the back. All-in-all, my body was responding excellent. So, Gopro was working beautifully as was the GPS. I checked the specs on the Walkman, and it says it will play up to 30 hours of mp3s. So, that will be perfect for the Spooktacular ride. I have t figure out how I want to do the Gopro footage. The easiest would be to just record everything in realtime 1080p. I can get 2 hours out of every charged battery. So, with the battery power bacpac that I just ordered, I can record 4 hours without having to change the battery. But, because of the duration of the ride, I'll likely have to change the battery out once and same for the SD Card. I'll definitely do some test runs when I get the stuff in the mail. Following that will be a reconiscance ride, just to see what I'm getting into :D.
