Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Went riding with Roger today. We went a little later than usual because I waited for my helmet to arrive in the mail. As far as the helmet goes, It looks good and fits good. It's light and I'm hoping the color (silver) will absorb less heat than the previous. The dialin tension feature is good. I can adjust it quickly as I am riding. So, during the climbs, I can loosen it a little, then during the descent, I can tighten it. It came with a little visor that clips in and provides a little shelter from the sun. I tried it on the downhill and uphill. I didn't like it. I took it off at the top of the climb and that felt better. It just seemed to abstruct my view and made it a little front heavy. OK, the ride... we got to the top of the climb in about 10-11 mins, which is pretty good for Roger. We cruised the downhill, no heroics there. The ascent was pretty much as it was on the previous Keene n Back ride. Roger and I went at our own pace. Therre were certain sections that began to heat up a little from the direct sunlight. Like usual, this slowed me down a bit. Ailments, heat exhaustion mostly. As far as numbness in the hand, I was able to mitigate the symptoms by shaking my hands and arms from time to time. So, I hardly felt any symptoms at all. I held a good tempo most of the way up, and got to the top in about 1:08. Roger did good today, being about 6 or 7 minutes behind. Bike is working well, but still creaking noises here and there. Coming from the same place. I'm going to refit the pedal to see if tht helps. Gopro is working great, as is my GPS.
