Fun item. When I was in Joplin there were two pictures I missed taking. One was of a butterfly as a memorial outside Tim & Carol’s church for their one member lost in the tornado. The other is a Welcome to Joplin sign with butterflies around it, celebrating the butterflies that led children who then led their parents into safe buildings, and the “butterfly people” appearing and posting themselves between families and the tornado, which hundreds of children saw, but only children. I spent a couple hours online trying to find those two pictures but couldn’t. A friend called City Hall and they will photograph the Joplin sign and hopefully I can share it tomorrow. He also called the church and she sent the photo I’ll share tonight. As they talked she said her name was Tara Lynn, named after the plantation in Gone with the Wind. He said his granddaughter’s name is Terralynn, his is Terrie Lynn, and mine that he was getting the picture for is Terri Lynn. She laughed and said her father is Terry Lynn. 😁 Well I started sneezing yesterday afternoon and sniffling last night. Woke up with a nice achy back and runny nose. I feel better this afternoon but I have a sore throat and runny nose tonight. That’s what I get for skipping my vitamins all last week.😣 I was curious how I would do if I had to ride sick at any point, I just may find out tomorrow! I’m very grateful for today off, and rested all day, but the payback is a 97 mile ride tomorrow, with a significant hail storm predicted at noon, but we were nice and cozy today during the high winds. We do have a lesser wind warning for tomorrow, so getting up at 4 and riding out at 5. The Einstein picture was from the little convenience store here in town, I had never heard that before.
