I slept in til 7 AM, it was wonderful! Dee & I walked to the library for Wi-Fi and Tom made us all brkfst. Kathy and I spent the afternoon in the most incredible space museum, second only to the Smithsonian, in this town!! The story behind it is amazing, the determination of one woman. It is called the Cosmosphere and reminded me of the creation museum in Kentucky, you could spend days and days in there. It has the largest collection of American and Russian artifacts anywhere and just blows your mind. We learned so much about why the space race mattered at the time, and what the Cold War was all about. These rockets and planes are the real thing, not replicas. Except for the Glamorous Glennis …this was the replica built for one of my favorite movies, The Right Stuff. We just got back from Buffalo wild wings. Dee & Cliff stayed to finish watching the basketball game. I woke up this morning feeling like a load of bricks, and a little stiff. The perfect day for a day off! And it continued to rain nonstop all last night, all of today and tonight, so we won’t leave til 8:30. I’ve had enough of riding in hard rain to last me awhile! A quick Walmart run was helpful today too, replacing my plug-in that had quit, and pepper spray. We are staying at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, celebrating their 100th anniversary. Those downstairs lights are the fellowship hall where they have created a biker hostel, it has been the most wonderful place on a chilly rainy day & nights, and so great to have a kitchen! Sorry, this feels like a boring update. But boring was so very wonderful today!! (actually it wasn’t boring, the museum was amazing, the rest was wonderful, and dinner was so much fun.) 🤗 And the best phone call this evening from my daughter with GREAT news of an her new job, and sweet text from daughter-in-law. (Jonathan & Caity expecting their 2nd child in a couple months😊) I am so proud of my kiddos.♥️ Missing you guys.🥰🧎‍♀️🦋
