Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

I got out late, so I had just over an hour for a bike ride. I chose the Banducci Summit n Back route. The weather is great. It's warm but comfortable. The air is on the cool side. Winds to the South East. The legs felt ok to start. It took a while to get them warmed up. I made it to the summit of OTR in average time. The Banducci Wall was partial traffic mitigation. I was at 150BPM over the top. I recovered and then finished the remainder of the climb. I don't recall the exact time at the summit, but it was around 48 to 49 minutes, give or take. The downhill was tons of fun. I reached 43 MPH descending off the Banducci Wall. From there, it was smooth sailing. Concentration was good. The morale was high. I had a few things to think about. Balance and form was good. Gear worked flawless. Ailments, some hand numbness while out of the saddle. The calf muscles feel good. Nutrition was good. No hunger signs. I had about half my Gatorade, no water. Other notes, no other cyclists or runners today.
