That’s kind of shocking, I can’t believe today is day 50! I also can’t believe the miles and states we have covered as I look at a US map. Only 2 weeks left. Then maybe I will sleep for the next one! Woohoo, that was my big walk to town and back.😁 Cliff & Kathy got to meet up with their daughter for an art show near here! So they are gone for the day. I went to lunch with Dee, Tom, and Dave, then they drove on to the campground and I walked to the sporting goods store and then back to my little motel room. I splurged and decided a nice clean room for a second night feels like a luxury. A hot bath, microwave, fridge, coffee, real bed… and warmth!!! It’s windy and cold out there. Tonight will be our coldest night yet, then temps will probably turn to warm weather from there forward. We will be riding out in the 30s 🥶 tomorrow AM, and I will just really appreciate getting to bundle up for it from here in a nice warm, clean, private, quiet room! When I told the guys I extended my motel room stay, Dee called me a wimp😊 then the others complained that I wasn’t doing the same for them, ha ha. Yeah, they can do their own! Except with everyone having to scramble out of Yosemite, everything has filled up even this far away. If I hadn’t called the office last night to extend, there would not have been the possibility of staying today. So that is my exciting, restful, perfect day today.🥰 Tomorrow will be rugged. Cold, a mountain peak, and headwinds. So I rest and read today, then early to bed! Sending my love, ♥️terri
