Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's starting to warm up. I got out a bit late. Weather in the 80's. Winds from the North West. The air is much drier than the previous ride. Air is on the cool side. I made it to the summit of the descent in good average time. I cruised the downhill. I put in some modest digs over the risers. After making it to the base, I didn't bother checking the time and headed back up the mountain. I stopped once very briefly to remove a pine cone from the middle of the street. From there it was non-stop to the summit. I was alternating in and out of the saddle techniques. It definitely kept the legs fresh. The miles went quick. I felt patient. The morale was sufficient. There was minimal traffic mitigation, but I was always watching my 6. I kept the momentum going over the top. From there it was mostly recover till I got back home. Concentration was pretty good. A bit better than I anticipated. No gremlins, but I was having to coach just a bit. Balance and form was good. Nutrition was good. I had most of my Gatorade, no water. I had no hunger signs. Gear worked perfect. Other notes, no other cyclists. There was a modest crowd at the Loop Monument when I was on my way back.
Other notes... I continue to impress myself with being able to put in some good wattages while seated. Likely due to better form and core body work.
