Decided to go short and wanted to keep my watts at 140-160 on flats and down hill, 170-200 1-2% hills, and 220+ greater than 2%. The first 4 miles was a warm-up and last 8 miles was 180 watts. All in all it was a moderate ride and felt good as long as I didn't push, legs are a little sore and tired. I almost had a bad incident with a small deer when I was 4/10 of mile from my home, luckily the road was bumpy and my Garmin fell off the mount and was hanging, so i slowed a little and was remounting it. The deer ran right across my path just missing it. It would have been bad with just one hand on the bar and if I wasn't messing with the Garmin I would have been going faster and hit the deer. Fate was on my side!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
