Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

They predicted it would be over 100 degrees F today. So, I had two choices. Ride indoors later in the day. Or, get out early. I chose the latter. The weather was comfortable. In the mid 70's. Winds from the South East. The legs felt good from the start. I didn't bother checking the time at the summit of the descent. Probably good average time given the mild tailwind condition at this point in the ride. I cruised the downhill. I put in two digs over the risers. The first one was better then the second. I didn't bother checking my time at the base of the climb. I knew it was going to be difficult ascent given the headwind condition. At least the wind was mild. It was a game of patience. I kept the tempo nice and steady. My approach was to allow my HR to rise gradually and not redline it the entire descent. It seemed to work as I anticipated. The landmarks helped the concentration and morale as they went by. After reaching the bridge, my HR got up to around 150 BPM. I reached the summit feeling that I had some left over matches. Exactly how I wanted it. From there, I relaxed till I reached Weston. And then shut it down at the top of the hill. Concentration was good. Minimal gremlins. The morale felt good. Balance and form felt good. I might want to raise the saddle just a bit. Ailments, the right upper knee was complaining with a few hints here and there. Perhaps the rationale of having to raise the saddle just a bit. Gear worked perfect. The GPS indicated that I need to replace the battery in the power meter. Other notes, no other cyclists or spectators at the Loop Monument.
