Bob wanted to check out the washouts on WOLH and Stage Rd. so it was Ye Olde Pescadero Loop today.
The washout on WOLH wasn’t that a big a deal. A downed tree blocking the road was a bigger concern.
The one on Stage was pretty bad with just a sliver of road, enough for a bike to ride through.
After finishing lunch, the picnic table attacked Bob. I’d love to tell you that Bob won but I can only tell you he made out alive.
Both Bob and Sonny weren't feeling it today but on the way up Tunitas, I was trying to decide between going up ahead at my own pace and then coming back to retrieve them or pace Bob up the climb. I figured it would be more fun to pace him up. Sonny, unfortunately, had already been dropped by this point.
I knew that if I stayed just ahead of Bob, dangling like a carrot, he would keep chasing. And if I sped off, he'd slack off. So I made sure to keep him just below heart attack threshold. At one point he mentioned he was starting to cramp. I told him only his heart was allowed to cramp. 🤣

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
