It's cold, but rideable. I was a bit late to get out. I chose the Walmart Bike Path because I can feel my body still trying to recover. I wore the standard winter kit. The wind was from the North West. The legs felt average to start. A bit heavy. I didn't bother checking the time at the summit of OTR. The segment going out to the Walmart Bike Path was the most enjoyable part. I had a generous tailwind. The outbound on the Walmart Bike Path was mostly relaxing. Mostly downhill and into a headwind. So, I had a tailwind on the way back. The worst part was the Highline climb. Simply because the wind. It was getting cold. After making it to the summit, I was feeling better in the morale. The last kick to Banducci was the end of the worst. I had a good time descending OTR. I pushed over Mariposa. After reaching the top of Weston, I shut it down. Concentration was good. I had a few things to think about. I was a bit impatient. I was eager to get back and have lunch. Nutrition was good. Some hunger signs, but nowhere near bonking. I went through most of my Gatorade, no water. Gear worked flawless. Ailments were minimal. My right knee was getting sore in the last 10 minutes of the ride but never escalated. I was experiencing cold bite in the hands and feet. Nothing severe, but noticeable. Balance and form was good. Other notes, no other cyclists today.
