Today's weather was great! Nice and cool, mid 50's, winds from the South East. Perfect day for going out to WS. I bumped my left outer knee on a corner and it bruised. It's been sore for the past two or three days. It has since healed a bit, but is still noticeably sore. My right outer knee has also been sore, but has subsided and is no longer a hindrance. I had to adjust my pace accordingly. I cruised my way to route 202. Other than the knees, I felt good going out. I took it easy making my way out to WS. I had a head-wind and I was looking forward to the return trip. So, I made it to WS and turned around. I think it was perfect rehab for the knees. I was within my pain tolerances and I didn't feel as though I was further agitating the ailments. No digs today, just nice moderate tempo. Out of the saddle when needed and stretching all the while. Concentration was good. Balance and form felt good. Gear is working well. My bike is dirty again from the run-off water. Other notes, I saw 4 cyclists today, one of which I crossed paths twice. Perfect day for a ride!
I forgot to start the GPS, so I lost about 2 or 3 minutes of data.
