Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Another winter day, good for an indoor training session. I'm not sure if this was the same course/region as the previous ride, but I chose the "Hilly" route. It was a circuit that took around 25ish minutes to complete. It included a climb that lasted about 8 minutes or so. After that, it was undulating terrain. I ended up doing three laps, up the primary climb. The third time was unintended, but I decided to go for it. I ended up getting around 26th up the climb. Pretty good for me. My HR got up to about 162ish BPM. I think that's a record for an indoor workout. I hit that peak when I was doing the last lap up the climb. Besides that, I was trying to keep my momentum going on the false flats and undulating terrain. Using others as a litmus. It took about 20 minutes for my body to get fully warmed up and sweaty. The legs felt good. Back feels good. Overall, I enjoyed this workout. Concentration was pretty much spot on. No ailments today. Gear is working great. Other notes, I tried to hang with a pack as I was finishing one of the climbs. I was able to hold onto the tail end.
