Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

The weather was great today. Nice and cool with a wind from the North. My legs felt better today than the previous ride. Like usual, I cruised it to Keene. On the return trip, my legs were there, so I set good tempo. After about the half way point to the summit, I decided to work mostly on leg balance. This put me in the comfortable zone for concentration, which, at that point, was drifting in and out. I had no serious ailments. Some minor soreness in the right lower back. That went away in about 5 minutes. No calf/hand problems. I realized the other day why my calfs were hurting. I was going up and down the stairs, probably 2 or 3 times more than usual. The gear is working great. Other notes, I almost hit 40mph on the return descent, I think I hit 39.8. so close... =/
