Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The streets are peppered in snow, hence the decision to ride indoors. I got up a bit late from my morning nap. I wasn’t sure what map to ride on. I chose the Zwift “Flatland Loop in Makuri Islands”. It’s an 8-mile loop, with only a few hundred feet of elevation gain. I’m in the process of dialing in the new cleats. So far so good, but the left leg feels a bit misbalanced compared to the right. The legs felt pretty good to start. I was doing 100 Watts within the first 5 minutes or so. I was making in and out of the saddle efforts. The left inner glute is still mildly sore but felt pretty good today. There were some timed segments, but I didn’t bother trying. After completing the first lap, I decided to do another. The approach was the same. I was making in and out of the saddle efforts. I put in some digs through the timed segments. I was in the top 25%. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to block the sun from the transom. The sunlight was right in my face. I put some foam core boards, that did the trick. After completing the second lap, I shut it down. I let the HR go below 112 BPM and then I hopped off. Concentration was good. Minimal impatience. I knew it was going to be a quick ride. Balance and form is getting better. I’m in the process of dialing in the cleats, stance and float. I think I have the fore/aft position dialed in. Gear worked flawless. Ailments, minimal. The right knee didn’t complain. The hamstring was a bit tender on one of the sprint segments, so I had to back off a bit. I probably needed more warming up. Nutrition was good. I was snacking all the way up to the start of the ride. Other notes, I think there about 2 or 3 thousand riders on this map.
