I got out a little later than usual today. I was feeling a little queezy earlier today. So, I postponed the ride, in the hopes that I would feel better later. Turns out I was right. The weather was a bit on the hot side. Most notably on the Banducci Wall. I did good tempo all the way out to the top of SS. The wind was from the north, so I was having to battle it from the moment I descended off of Banducci climb. The trip back was somewhat of a treat. I had few ailments today, which consisted of minor numbness in the right hand and soreness in the hips. Other than that, it was the normal fatigue from doing strong tempo on the way back. My concentration was good today, very few lapses and I was able to read my body well. Leg balance is good. I had to make some conscious adjustments here and there, but no biggy. I had enough provisions to last me the entire ride, with just a bit left over. Two large bottles, water and Gatorade. The bike continues to work well. Some minor creaking noises here and there, but very subtle. Other notes, I tried my new phone by doing a bandwidth test at the top of Banducci and SS. I got higher bandwidth on the Banducci summit than SS, and both better than at home. I saw a red tail hawk today as I was descending Banducci. Oh, and I hit 40+mph on the descent in SS.
