Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It’s been snowing, so another day for indoor training. I was a bit reluctant to get on the trainer, but I managed to convince myself. I had a mechanical problem today. As I was mounting the bike to the trainer, I set the rear wheel aside. As I was setting up the bike, the rear wheel tipper over on the ground and the freewheel mechanism came apart. It is now unrideable. Nevertheless, I hopped on the trainer and got on with business. I chose the London Loop. I wanted to post a negative split if I had the stamina and patience to do so. After the first lap, I was motivated enough to do a second lap. I posted an average time on the first climb. I was well within myself, doing mostly less than W/kg. After the first lap, I was sufficiently warmed up and was able to go it again. I kept the tempo slightly higher. Doing 3 W/kg, plus or minus. I bested my time by about a minute or so. Thus, posting a negative split. I placed 14th on that lap. From there, the morale was better as the ride was mostly done. I made it back to the start finish and cooled down once I got there. I hopped off after reaching 112 BPM.
Concentration was mostly good. Despite the mechanical, I was able to get on with business. Balance and form was good. Ailments were minimal. The knees and hands felt better today. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink. Gear worked flawlessly. Other notes, there were about 450 riders on this map today.
