The weather is great. I got up a bit late. This is the first ride since the medical procedure on Tuesday. The wind is from the North West, temperature at around 60 degrees. I chose to go to the Alpine Forest. The legs felt ok to start. I lowered the seat by about ¼ inch or so. It feels better. I may want to raise it by one or two marks. Pending how I feel on the next ride. I made it to the top of OTR in average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I felt better when I made it to Arosa. The Arosa climb and landmarks went quick. I was near max going over the top. I zipped around the backside. Had some fun on the dips and made my way to the Banducci Summit. When I reached the Banducci Summit, I pulled over and recovered for a minute. I checked the GoPro battery, let traffic by and then headed back down the mountain. There was minimal traffic till I reached the Banducci Wall descent. I kept right and feathered the brakes to let traffic by. The descent off OTR was mostly fun and games. I pushed it over Mariposa and Weston after which I shut it down.
Concentration was good. The morale felt good. Minimal lapses and no signs of gremlins today. Balance and form was good. I’m in the process of dialing in the saddle height. I think it felt better today then the previous ride. Ailments were minimal. Some hand numbness on the climbs going out of the saddle. The right ankle was complaining on a few occasions. Although it didn’t detract from the ride as I made some adjustments to my pedaling. Gear worked flawless. Nutrition was good. I drank most of my sport drink. Other notes, I saw one cyclist, one e-biker and a walker.
