Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

The weather is great! In the upper 60’s. Winds from the North West. Favorable to go to SS. I wore arms, knees and a thick base layer. That was more than sufficient. The legs were ok to start. As I was making it to the end of the block, I realized that I forgot a pouch of powder drink that I was supposed to take. At least I brought a third bottle in the saddle bag. I made it to the summit of OTR in good average time. The Banducci Wall had some traffic mitigation. I was near max going over the top. More of the same to the summit. I made it there in about 39 minutes. I took a few moments to recover. I let traffic by, checked the GoPro battery and then headed down the mountain. It was mostly fun and games, but I was playing it safe. The trek to SS was mostly a game of patience. After passing the front entrance, I let up, stretched on the bike and then made my way around the backside. I put in a good sprint, reaching over 40 MPH on the downhill while in the tuck. I made it to the tunnel in about 1:03 hours. So, I was doing good time. I zipped through town and made my way back on the farm lands. I stopped once to BIO at the farm porta-potties. Shortly after I got back on the road. I made my way to the last climb. I passed Boss Hogs in about 1:27-ish minutes. I gave up about 4 minutes on the return. As I was making my way to the last climb, I was getting hunger signs. So, I stopped at the base of the climb to feed. I ended up consuming the entire Clif Bar. After I finished feeding, I got back on the road and finished the climb. There was a slight headwind on the summit, so I was having to grind my way up the last riser. After making it to the summit, I filled my bottle with the extra third water bottle I had in my saddle bag. From there, I headed to Route 202. I was able to recover a bit on the way. Route 202 had some traffic mitigation. I ended up pulling over to let traffic by. The return on OTR was fun and games. I pushed over Mariposa and Weston. I shut it down after making it to the top of Weston.
Concentration was good. I had few lapses and minimal gremlins out there. Balance and form was good. Ailments, some minor hand numbness. I was a bit queasy in the stomach after consuming the energy bar towards the last half hour of the ride. Turns out that I needed to hydrate. Nutrition was mostly good, but I could have used that extra powder drink. Gear held up great. Other notes, I saw one cyclist on OTR. I think there was another, but likely a casual cyclist.
