Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

(The metrics or off by about 1 mile, as I forgot to start the GPS on departure). The weather was nice and cool. I stepped out to the backyard to gauge the temperature. It felt like 55ish degrees. So, I dressed accordingly. 1 base layer, arms, knees. The smartphone said around 45 degrees, but I didn't trust it. When I got to the end of Weston, it was colder than I had anticipated. It was right on the rivet of being uncomfortable. I kept telling myself to think of it as a cool day at the beach. I didn't cover my head, and I was about to bring my skull cap. Fortunately, I made it to the base of Keene without freezing over. The return trip was nice. I had a generous tail-wind and cold temperature. My legs were there for the entire ride. There was a cyclist that passed me when I was on my way down. I estimate that he was at least 10 minutes ahead of me. Appeared to be overweight by about 50 pounds or so. I didn't expect to bridge up to him on the ascent. So, I did my own ride. I put my GPS into Watt mode (watts + watts/kg). I was keeping an eye on the watts/kg reading. I was mostly between 2 to 4 watts/kg. I wasn't paying attention to my HR much. But, likely above 80% max for the majority of the ascent. As I was about to make the summit, I caught the cyclist that was ahead of me. Nothing to get too excited about. Likely, he just wanted to get the ride under his belt. I kept the power down over the top, took a breather and then headed back home. Concentration was good for the most part. Balance and form felt good. Ailments, none. Gear is working well. Although, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the Stages power meter as a cadence sensor. I couldn't figure it out when I was about to depart, so I put the garmin cadence sensor back. Other notes, I took some photos of cows grazing in the field as I was descending my way to Keene.
