What a great day to get out. The weather was near perfect. In the 60's, little wind. I decided to do the (R) route because of the wind direction, which was from the south. I wore arms and 1 base layer. My legs felt fresh today. I did moderate tempo to route 202 and held it steady up Banducci wall. I picked up the pace to good tempo till I reached the summit. The winds were from the West, as is it usually is in these conditions. So, it was at that point I decided to do the (R) ride. I felt well concentrated and was able to focus on my form dose my efforts calculated. I did moderate tempo into the wind and lifted the pace a bit up the last climb. I made it to boss hogs well under an hour. The wind conditions were much less than the last time I did this route. I was able to hold around 15-18 mph through the farm fields. I'm not sure what my max speed was, but I'm guessing that it was around 40ish. Balance was real good today, even into the cross and headwinds. Gear is working well, but that creaking noise that sounds like something's loose is back. I gotta check my front fork for looseness. Other notes, I saw 2 red tail hawks gliding around OTR. Donkey was there, but too far to beckon him for a pat on the side.
